The app allows you to keep track of your tasks, and assign new ones, manage your contacts and edit their details on the go, and keep up to date with your projects and opportunities. Best of all - when you add or change data in the Android app, it's automatically sync'ed in real time with the web app and the iPhone app.
Navigation appears when you slide your finger from the left edge across the device, or by touching the menu button in the top left.
Clicking on a phone number in the Android app will automatically dial that number for you if you're using a phone, and you can send SMS messages to contacts and plot addresses in Google Maps with just a touch too.
You can log out of the Android app by touching the log out button in the bottom of the slide out menu, but otherwise it will stay logged in when you open it to so you can get straight to work.
Because the Insightly app installs through the Play store, it will automatically update on your device when we add new features, and we've got quite a few in the works that we're releasing in the coming months.
So we encourage you to head across to the Google Play store, download the app to your Android phone or tablet, and write a quick review of the app in the play store to let us know you appreciate it.
Will calling from the app track that the call was made from the user? That would be helpful in managing sales reps when they say, " I've called them several times and they never call back".

In my business, I need to add pictures to insightly from the gallery on my android device, sadly the insightly icon does not appear in the list of places that I can send pics to. Also I do not see the ability to add files to an opportunity or project from within the app. Am I missing something?

I cannot get access to my account with the Insightly android app (and I'm sure of my login/pwd), whereas it works perfectly with the browser. Could you help me please ?
ReplyDeleteIs there a support group for the Android app? There are a couple of things I'd like to talk about. The biggest one being the missing contact injection into Android contact space. I'd LOVE to delete all those business contacts from my personal address book and keep those in Insightly only.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'd love to have switchable accounts in the app - I use Insightly in two (soon three) different contexts.
Nice layout. Maybe you could enhance the user experience on iphone also. The layout there looks so old. Not all information under the organizations not showing either.

ReplyDeleteHi there! I just added my review to the Chrome Web store but your form won't allow me to submit the T-shirt request. It keeps asking me to "Please select a value for this field" in the shirt size section, so I'm assuming that it's not recognizing "Small...?"

Great App. :) I like how it's easy to use. I couldn't review on the App page, for some reason, it kept coming up with an error. I did sign up for a shirt. My order was the one with the name Shanneene, in Australia. :) Keep up the good work, guys.

Big issue with the ios app! My custom fields (specifically the drop down menus) aren't showing correctly on the app. On the browser version everything appears fine but the iPad app is missing options in the drop down menus (or worse there is nothing even there to select!).
ReplyDeleteIs this a common bug? Was looking at signing on with Insightly but this could be the deal breaker for me.
When will this app be updated? The BIGGEST problem with the app is the lack of filtering capability. When I look at the "opportunities" tab, it shows me all opportunities in alphabetical order... including closed and lost opportunities. This is so ANNOYING! I need to be able to filter to view open opportunities.
