Improved Opportunity value tracking

New to Insightly this week is the ability to see and track the number of opportunities you have open at any time, and their total worth. We've added a small info bar to the top of the opportunity list that calculates the number and total worth of all the opportunities in the list, and displays them by currency.

The totals in the bar change dynamically depending upon which opportunities are in the list, so it works great with our custom filters, or the built in ones. You can quickly see at a glance how many open opportunities you have, and how much they're worth. Or create a custom filter to see how many opportunities you have with a close date in the next 30 days, and the total worth of those opportunities. You might also track the total outstanding value of all open opportunities for a specific user.

You can also click on a tag in the sidebar to see the total number and value of opportunities with a specific tag. It's a small change but a big improvement to the opportunities list and we hope you like it.

  1. I saw it last week and totally I ignored it (don't know why). Now I see that it's a very useful feature. It would be great if we also could sort Opportunities and Project by last updte date (asc and dsc)

  2. This is a great update! Hopefully this can be expanded in the future to track by pipeline stage and close percentage to project future sales amounts. Thanks for this!

  4. Great, love it. I will use it to track my weekly progress. Would be also great if it also calculates weighted revenues.

Please display both total value and weighted value (or only weighted value).

  7. I concur, weighted value of projected revenue would be a very valuable feature.

  8. Great feature. Would really like it if the organisation name was visible on the opportunity page though, just so you can see which customer the ops are with!

  10. I think that we should annualize the monthly values.

And wanting a mobile version too. :-)

    Thank you,

  11. Has anyone else noticed that the forum for feature requests mysteriously disappeared?

  12. That's true. Where is the feature requests forum? Can somebody tell me when the mobile version will be ready and (the most important for me) when API will be ready?

  13. Is this feature only for the paid version? I don't see it on my free version...

  14. Hi! Can you please do some more on the dashboard. I wuld like to see iGoogle liek dashboard with all essantial info on it.

Can you create some visual representation on sales pipeline - how valuable opportunities are in wich stage, sort/filter opportunities by size, due date, country etc.

    1. Agreed. This info should be moved to the dashboard and shown with a visual...please see how MotherNode CRM did this as an example.

  15. I agree with several above. Would be much more useful if I could see visual representations of how many users are at each stage of the pipeline, particularly if we could track how that's changed over time. That's the main purpose of a 'pipeline', right?
